Well worth the money

Fantastic. This is better than I thought it’d be. The mapping is easy, we have a lot of obstacles (coffee table, raised dog bed, kitchen stools) and it goes around all of them seemlessless. We’ve set it to go daily as we’ve got a golden retriever dog that constantly malts and it’s so good. Collects dust perfectly and is great at collecting dog hair. Well worth the money we paid. Suction power is really good and the battery life is good for our space. It does 29m² in 40 minutes and takes around 20% battery. We have a mixture of carpets and LVT flooring and it performs brilliant on both.

I am a customer of amazon but not paid in any way to make my review im just an average lady in the UK buying this product.
I had bought another robot vacuum cheaper thinking it would be good enough, but the mop made my carpets wet and there were features lacking that this robot has, so I returned it and did more research before I settled on the roborock.
Firstly out of the box it feels heavier and better quality. I like the top lid to remove the dust box and fill with water without turning upside down or lifting up. It was very easy to connect to WiFi and set up, I've not even looked through the instruction book yet as the app does it all.
It maps very quickly a room or total floor area to be done, u can edit the map after shutting off areas. U can mop, mop and vacuum and vacuum only, 5 different speeds of vacuuming, and 3 different rates of water for the mop.
It automatically lifts the mop when going over carpet. It has only got stuck once since buying it, and it returns to docking when finished. I like the clear plastic sheet which sticks to carpet for the docking charger too!
It vacuums really well and quiet too, a in all im really impressed. I paid ?180 for mine on an amazon deal

Does exactly what it says it does.

I’ve had this up and running for 4 days now. Bought this for upstairs, mainly carpets. Very easy set up, quick start up guide works. Pros; cleans well, does what it is supposed to, easy to programme. Cleans and mops well even the edges. The dust bag sits in the dock allowing easy access.Cons, got stuck at the the top of the stairs two days in a row until I managed to programme a no go zone. Since then problem resolved.Unlike the Curve, the water tank sits inside the robot. For anyone fully mobile and can bend, not a problem. I bought this machine because mobility is an issue and bending is difficult. The descriptions should state where the water and dust are collected in all these machines.For mainly carpets and few hard floors this is a great machine.

No longer hopeless.

Hopeless. Just wouldn't connect to my network no matter what. Tried everything. I have other vacuums that connect instantly. Very disappointed. Returned for a refund.Update.I don't like to give negative feedback, so after packing this away to be returned I thought lets give it one more go. Don't get me wrong, it still failed miserably to connect. I spent hours tearing my hair out on Saturday and almost gave up again. Then, this morning I noticed a setting on my tablet. It refers to something called Bluetooth tethering. It was set to Off. Now I've no idea if this was the sole cause of my issues (apparently turning your cellular data off whilst connecting may help too - I installed the app on a WiFi only tablet to rule this out) but finally, it worked! I'm assuming Bluetooth is needed for setup and having this setting Off, even though Bluetooth itself was On, was causing the connection issue.So, with that out of the way - Wow! I've owned quite a few robot vacuums (I have a problem I know) and now it's up and running I can happily say this is my best so far. It's a weighty beast with very high suction on its top setting. The self raising mop is just brilliant. It detects carpets instantly, better than any I've tried before. So I'll be keeping the water reservoir filled because, with this model it will only mop where needed, automatically. It's advised you also rinse and squeeze out the mop pad before each clean. I set it going with a dry mop pad but it still did an OK job.Mapping is extremely impressive. Admittedly my house isn't big but I wasn't expecting it to map the place so quickly and accurately. It mapped a good portion of my humble abode without even moving. I still allowed it to wander though and the result was just fantastic. I'm really impressed with how far the technology has come. My gripe has always been the same, I hate it when they bump into things. Over time it can cause scuff marks on paintwork and is just generally annoying. Not with this robot though! It just completed its first full cleaning routine and I don't think it hit anything. The vacuum ramped up the power when it knew it was on a carpeted area, the mop having raised and water ceased pumping too. As soon as it knows it's on tiles or vinyl the vacuum decreases and the mop lowers. All very seamless and not too loud (depending on your vacuum setting). The app has numerous setting too.All in all this is a great machine. One of the most powerful too. Accessories are readily available here on amazon. One star deleted because I lost a day trying to get it to connect. It really should be simple, and it seems for most it is. I do know people have had issues though. Apart from this I recommend. Now, I better go cancel that return.Further update.Didn't have too much time last weekend to really put this through it's paces. This morning I used it to both vacuum and mop. I increased the suction via the app, chose 'deep clean' (which vacuums closer linear lines on each pass) and had it perform two cleaning cycles. All of this understandably doubled the cleaning time from 30 mins to 1 hour. The outcome? Fantastic! I really am extremely impressed so far with this machine. I previously deleted a star due to my initial connection issues. I do feel it's performance however is so good that the vacuum now deserves all five stars. The lidar mapping really is a complete game changer. A brilliant robot vacuum that deserves serious consideration should you be in the market for one.
